Highly recommended. My second choice was Pocket DVD Wizard, which is also very good. I chose to buy DVD Studio, because of the extra controls it provides including the option of a 2 pass conversion which gives outstanding results on my Treo 650. If you just want quick and easy then either product will be great. I am still amazed at being able to carry a 1.5hr movie in a 256MB file. With a 2 GB SD card (Treo 650) I can have a complete "media PC" in my pocket :)

Fast, compact, easy to use. Works great on my XP and gives small Files (direct with CardReader0.97) on my Treo 650. Clear and stereo (has to activated) sound, perfect picture quality on my Treo with TCPM 0.66 (GNU).

It isn't often that I feel that I am getting great value for my money, but this program is such an example.
I have a large cartoon collection that I like to watch on my Palm. It consists of backups that I made of old LaserDiscs, DVD's and more. To get these on my Palm used to take two steps and LOTS of time. I downloaded Pocket DVD studio, made a clip in one pass and in about 1/2 the time (maybe even less) then it used to take me. The instructions were easy and it gave me the flexibility to not only grab any chapter I wanted but also to record from one spot in the DVD to another (lets say from 15:26 to 28:49) I can do that as well. Fast, easy to use, customizable. You really can't ask for more.
