Quick Start Instructions:
a. Launch the Playtonium Jigsaw. Once it is open, it will display small images of all of the jigsaws in a Puzzle Pack (the Pack Display).
b. Click on one of the small images to
trigger a pop-up menu of options
for that image. This pop-up menu has
buttons which allow you to choose
the number of pieces for your puzzle.
Click one of these buttons to launch
a puzzle.
c. Note that a Puzzle Pack which is in
"demo" mode will only allow you to
play the puzzles in the far left
column of the Puzzle Pack's display.
When you purchase a Puzzle Pack,
all of the puzzles (usually 50 to
60 images with 3 or 4 puzzles for
each image) may be played.
d. When a puzzle is launched, it will
open in its own window. This puzzle
window may be resized by dragging
the triangle at its bottom right
corner. This window may also be
maximized and minimized using the
buttons in its upper right corner.
e. Assemble a puzzle by dragging pieces
with your mouse and dropping them
on other pieces so that they snap
together. Assemble all of the pieces
to complete the puzzle. If you are
the competitive sort, enter your
name in your own personal "Best
Times" list to track your
accomplishments.
f. The tools and controls which you may
use to help assemble a puzzle are
located in a toolbar at the top of
the puzzle window. You may drag and
place this toolbar wherever it is
most convenient. The tooltips which
appear when you roll over the toolbar
buttons will tell you the use for
each button and control.
g. If you have installed multiple Puzzle
Packs, all of them may be viewed and
played within the Playtonium Jigsaw
without having to launch each Puzzle
Pack separately. The controls in the
lower right portion of the Pack
Display allow you to move from one
Puzzle Pack to the next seamlessly.
h. Explore all of the game's options
and features by clicking the buttons
in the lower left portion of the
Pack Display. There are numerous
"Preferences" you may control, a
number of fun things you may do
with special sound clips and MP3s,
and you may save and restore any
puzzle at any time using your own
custom file names.
